I took this photo with my iPhone recently on a plane journey to the Canary Islands. Using MegaPhoto editor I created an effect that looked as if I had travelled much further!

Spotted in a museum in Venice,this staircase caught my imagination as a representation of the vehicle for a mysterious journey.

The journey starts here. Lacing up my boots. The start of another adventure. Love walking, exploring places and appreciating nature.

Every journey has a destination, and here is my image of a trip to Australia. I plotted the journey from GPS data and superimposed it onto a photo of a map of the world. I also included a photo of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge to produce the final image. I must admit that I have never felt further away from home as I did standing looking out to sea from this location and the journey will live in my memory.

Recently I, with a group of friends, 'journeyed' to the Lake District. On our final day, we 'journeyed' by car to Ullswater, 'journeyed' on foot to the pier and 'journeyed' round Ullswater by boat. Perhaps we can increase these three different modes of 'journeying' by including rail and air on or next 'journey'!

I wondered when I took this shot, how many people might have journeyed up and down this stairway and for what reasons. Taken at Lauriston Castle near Edinburgh.

Whilst on holiday in France I managed to capture the light trail of a passing car as it rounded this cobbled corner.

A message in a bottle setting sail into the sea in Cornwall. (It was only a short journey, it was actually a message my husband sent to me one day when we were walking along the beach!)

I wanted to capture a vehicle passing by a fixed spot at speed to achieve a motion blur effect. I thought this would fit nicely with this month's 'journey' theme as it was a snapshot of a passing bus on a journey of it's own.

Definitely the end of the journey for this bicycle - almost completely absorbed by the mud at the waters edge.
